Tighten Up - The Black Keys

Well hello to you! Just another humid day in beautiful Los Angeles!

No matter how depressing my job is, somehow, whenever I get home, I always feel happy.
I work in a... I shouldn't say so. Whenever I tell people about my job, the look at me like I'm crazy. I'm not. Normal people all over the world do what I do. In fact, there are super messed up people who have managed to make a profit out of what I do. Now, that's truly sick.

I just have a "normal" job where I mess with copy machines, hang around the water-cooler, occasionally pick up phones, and do redundant paper work. To simplify it, my job is kind of like the show 'The Office', but there are no cameras following us and asking us to make random comments about meaningless events.

So where was I? It's not the work that makes a job. Or the work that makes me happy. It's the people who are my colleagues. These people make me smile. I know it sounds sappy but most of the time it's because of something exceptionally stupid. What can I say? I appreciate the finer things in life.

As should you. Until tomorrow, let's be free to be you and me; let's be young and free!
