Should I buy a domain?
It would be a domain for this blog, the child of my loins. (Note: I am NOT having children.)
If the answer is "no", then that's that, until this question pops up into my mind again. A simple "no" means that this question goes away for a few months, maybe a year. Just so you know, this question has been in existence for some time now. Like the seasons, it comes after a certain amount of time, and then goes away. And I was talking about television seasons.
BTW, how sad was the series finale to Parks & Rec??? I'm gonna miss that show. :(
Anyways... Where was I? Domain! Yes, if the answer is a "yes", well, it's just the beginning. Then comes: what should my domain be? Where should I buy it from? For how long? 1 year? 2? And what about the design? Can I do it myself? Is it better it someone else does it? Should I just buy one of those pre-made designs? And do I know what I want it to look like? What about what type of domain? Apparently, there are different types... And what if no one reads my blog??? All these questions, and more that I can't remember, come to mind.
I actually mentioned this before in this previous post... From earlier this year. (Booyah! I have written within the last 3 months!)
As you can tell, from all the questions that are after the "yes", I have thought about this, truly thought about this. I like writing, and expressing myself in the written word. It's just something that's always made sense to me. People have mentioned to me that on this blog I have given myself a certain voice. (This was said as a compliment, thank you very much.) That's the one thing I like about writing, that you give yourself this voice that will be expressed for the longest time, even long after you're gone. (Note: The Diary of Anne Frank. If you never read it, well I'm not going to force you to. At least look up a summary. It won't hurt, I promise.) If I invest more time, and money, into this, the place where I express my voice, so that it may be heard for the longest of time... Well I think that's an investment worth making.
Oh, and to all my fond readers (yes, I'm still hearing the crickets): that domain will come with me adding more pictures. It just makes so much sense.
