Hello lovers!
It's me again; your not so avid blogger. So what's new children? Not much here as my time is not officially divided into 3 components: school, work, and sleep. I know, how tragically pathetic.
Besides not talking to one of my closest friends since last Friday (and no, I will not elaborate on this because this topic is getting on my nerves), I really don't have any news. So I will be discussing something terrible which I heard of on Monday; a break-up.
My friend M (as I shall call her) was, over this past weekend, dumped by her much younger boyfriend of less than a year. Now I'm a firm believer of break ups as I believe that people should avoid relationships at all costs, but what this guy did wasn't a break up. It was more like he did her dirty.
How, one may ask? Well, here's the list:
1) He told her that he was not ready for a relationship, citing "It's not you, it's me."
2) He stated that while he cared about her, he never felt the same way she did.
3) He, at the end, stated that he hoped they could remain friends.
I mean... COME ON!!!! Grow some balls dude, and stop spilling out all this bullshit into the atmosphere. By the way, I've heard more than my fair share of bullshit in my day. In fact, some of the times, I was the one using the bullshit... but these break up excuses are a new level of pure BS.
So what's the point of all of this? Well from what I know, when a great break up reason is introduced into the male gender, they all seem to use it at one point or another. While I know that M will take some time to get over being dumped in such a manner, and will eventually rise like a phoenix, I can't help but wonder about all the other women that are being dumped by such "logic" reasoning. All I can truly say about this is that I think it would hurt, and that I hope to never be broken up with in such a manner.
As for the topic, I guess that's it for this time. I hope to continue writing these insights into my mind about 3 times a week, or at the very least, once a week.
