Okay, so I'll admit it, I'm not the best blogger. But hey, I can be pretty funny.
So back to the point... Wait, did I even start a point? Oh yes, hello lovers! This is officially my last birthday as an under-21 year old. Can you say "really"? Yes, I know I am sarcastic beyond my years, but alas, I am still 20. That is, until midnight. At midnight, the state of California will recognize me as a 21 year old; a full adult. I know what you're thinking: "At 18, the state already did that!" Well smarty pants, as of under two hours from now, I will be able to buy my own alcohol. So there. How do you like them apples????
As I was saying, this is it. This is the final stretch, two hours, before I can say, "To hell with it! Let's go get smashed!" and proceed to do so. To be honest, I am very much excited. I haven't been this excited about a birthday since I turned 18, and was able to vote for Obama. That was a good year. As for how I will turn this trick around... well not much is happening on my actual birthday. My dad will obviously forget. That's alright. He's not much of a parent, anyway. I do have work. Hopefully, it's an easy-breezy day. And it's not at all boring. After work, I will have class. Have I mentioned it's a screenwriting class? I do have a few ideas for a screenplay that I have been toying with. Who knows? If I keep working with this I might win an Oscar one day. And have I mentioned the exceptionally hot guy in said class? All I know is that two of his favorite (maybe?) movies are Reservoir Dogs and Clerks. His name is Juan and he's talk. He looked somewhat pale with red-rimmed eyes last class and he has brooding down to an art form. Yup, this guy is something special. Plus, he was so cheeking me out a majority of the class time.
So the point of all this is that this is my last sober Labor Day. Next year, I can guarantee that I will be drinking beer nonstop and watching football with the best of them. As well as bitching about taxes. I really can't wait to be a complete adult.
